Requirements: Microsoft.NET runtime 2.0. If you have Windows XP SP2 or greater, or any version of Windows Vista you will already have these files on your PC. No need to install them separately. If not, see below...

New Folder Wizard is supported on Windows 7, Vista, XP, and 2000. It has NOT been tested on Windows 98/ME but still may work if the .NET runtime files described below are installed.

If you receive an error when you try to run the program. Please install the Microsoft.NET runtime 2.0 files from here:

No setup necessary. Program file only.

• Feature: Create sub-folders using the {tab} character in your source files.

1.1.0 • Bug fix: The program now properly handles Unicode characters. May not work in all languages.

• Feature: Support for comment lines in text files used as folder name source. Use up to 4 characters of your choice. All text after those characters on each line will be ignored. This feature is optional.

• Feature: You can now drag & drop into the target folder and text file text boxes. (To select your target folder or optionally source text file for folder names.)

• Feature: Two constants can now be used in the prefix and suffix text: %D and %T. These will insert the CURRENT short date and time respectively. Note: The "/" (forward slash)character in the date is replaced wiht a "-" (single dash) and the ":" (colon) character in the time is simply removed automatically.

• Updated message to error message to show that the {tab} character is also stripped from folder names along with other invalid characters.
